ABOUT ME

I have lived in the North Lake Tahoe area since January 2004.  When I first moved into town, things lined up pretty nicely, and I found a house and a job within a few days.  At first, I worked at Alpine Meadows Ski Resort, and then on to the front desks of the Village at Squaw Valley and the Redwolf Squaw Valley Lodge.  Then, I worked for two and a half years for the North Lake Tahoe Chamber of Commerce and the North Lake Tahoe Resort Association (promote tourism to North Lake Tahoe).

In the meantime, I explored the path of my college background – Journalism and Public Relations and found that I really enjoy doing both.  I decided to attend grad school at the University of Nevada, Reno.  I started in August 2009.  I am puruing my M.A. in Interactive Enviornmental Journalism.  I plan to graduate December 2010.

Through my own interests and for a class project, I decided to start this blog.  I encourage comments, questions, story ideas, etc.  Also if you or anyone you know wants to contribute material to this blog.  Please, please let me know.
